Photo of the Week - "Father"
The same uncle who took the photograph I posted in honor of Mother's Day of my mother and I also took this photograph of my father and I. In honor of Father's Day, I post it here today. I am pretty sure, judging by the little dress I am wearing, that this was taken on the day I was baptized; I was 6 weeks old, and he was 22 and a few months. I always thought that my Dad is one of the handsomest men in the world.
He is 71 now, but he still runs miles and miles with his dog every day. I don't know if he intends to run any marathons this year, but he ran 2 last year. If you were to see him today, you would be able to recognize him from this photograph. (Me... not so much!)
I still think he is one of the handsomest men in the world.

What a lovely photo of you with your Dad and, yes, he is quite handsome. He must be very fit to have run marathons at 69 and 70 years old. How proud you must be of him.

I don't think I've heard you mention your dad before, but I'm happy that you have such a good relationship with, and admiration for, him. He is a handsome man, as you say, and apparently still quite fit, judging from his continued activities.

he is a very handsome man and you a cutie too! Wow still runs marathons, amazing! Wish I had a photo like that with my dad, although i too always thought my dad was handsome always I thought he looked like Dean Martin, he was never this kind of dad.
Judi, I enjoyed seeing the pics and stories of your dad and grama Ruby. Its amazing how your dad is still running!!

I agree with you totally. You dad is a very handsome man and his daughter takes after him. She is such a cute little thing.
