After a few delicious days of sunshine and balmy breezes to tease us, the weather in the Pacific Northwest has returned to dark, cold, and dreary. I took my camera out this afternoon in a rather grim frame of mind, and the best my imagination could conjure is a few flower photos. Geez, I am getting into a rut, but at least the plants know that spring really is coming, even if the sky won't cooperate!
I grew up in Southern Wisconsin where Forget-Me-Nots are a common wildflower. When a small patch volunteered to grow in my herb garden a few years ago, I couldn't bear to weed them up. Aren't they the prettiest things?
My Mother-In-Law planted these Royal Anne cherry trees years ago - looks like we are going to have a bumper crop the year.

I don't think I have ever seen a forget-me-not. Very pretty. Love the cherry blossoms!
Wow the flowers are beautiful, and I absoltely adore that cherry tree, I wonder if you can get them in Australia.
both are beautiful, but I confess...I love the forget-me-nots.. I must try to grow some. I even bought a picture of some from Susan over at 29 Black Street last year.... they are framed and in my craft room all year round now.... lol....
OH, how pretty they are!!! I love the cherry blossoms best ~ :)
lovely delicate looking flowers :D
Those little blue flowers are so precious! Cherry blossom is nice!
You can say the same thing for us weatherwise. After 2 beautiful weeks of warmth and sunshine everything is turning dreary we even had ground frost last night.
However as you say the plants are upbeat and they are beautiful.
I never get tired of photos of flowers. Those are so pretty. Hope it warms up for you soon.
