Meet Margeurite

I made this doll as a custom order -- she has safely arrived at her new home so I feel safe posting her here now. She told her owner that her name is Marguerite.

I think this is the first doll I have ever made that I am completely satisfied with how she turned out.

I think if I had been going to keep her I would have added more beads, but she was already way more work than I had anticipated and she wanted to go home.

If you are interested, the instructions for her hair vine can be found here.

Wow... she is great. What did you use for hair? It doesn't look like mohair... and sure doesn't look synthetic...

hi Judi....it's me ....Ms. Forgetful...

I put out a distress call on my blog earlier today....after searching all over for this little gal.... (obviously I missed your blog somehow even though it is on my list).... because I couldn't remember who it was that had made my favourite hairdo on a doll!

You gave me a site to find some of this beautiful hair.... and...I am ashamed to say...I can't find it. I know darn well I filed it somewhere safe...but, it is so safe I can't remember where I put it...

can you let me know once again please? .... it was thanks to Serena and Judi W. that I tracked her down... lol.... they remembered much better than I did where they saw this beauty.....
